Below par performance when 8th last start at Ruakaka and coming back in trip. R R Manning stable are on fire recently. Has a nice turn of foot. Can go on with it. JELLY ROLL (1) Ran 4th last start at Tauranga but will try to take advantage of the alley. Can go through the gears. Among better hopes. ILLUMINATED MISS (5) Maintained a solid pace but eventually weakened to finish 3rd last time at Te Rapa. Has the necessary speed to mitigate the wide draw. Joe Nishizuka provides some weight relief. Has to be strongly considered.
