PIRULITA (2) Couldn't maintain the pace when 6th last time at Lone Star Park. Happy to forgive that run and will try to take advantage of the draw. Up against tougher opponents. Suitably placed in this race. VAEDRA (5) Closed off nicely when 4th last time at Belterra Park but matched against a stronger field. Should be going forward early. Weston Hamilton consistently performs well for this stable. Must respect. TATE BATZ (1) Below par performance when 8th last run at Del Mar but has the ideal alley. First race for a new trainer but facing a stronger group of contenders. Each way all day. GAMBLING DEN (3) Couldn't stay in touch when 7th last start at Lone Star Park. Expecting improvement here but down in distance. Shows good early pace. Racing against tougher rivals. Not out of this.
